Annoyed about Giganticus today, he's a horse i like, but he is quirky. Plenty of money for him this morning and i thought about betting him, but i went for Something in the end who was 3rd.

Gift Horse not good enough today. I know the lad who led him up today, so i spoke to him for a while. You will pleased to know that he still has the ability to win more races, but he isn't as good as he used to be and he needs a confidence booster in a lower grade race.

Sakhee's Secret is a superstar. He travelled like a dream and picked up well. Dutch Art came from the clouds to challenge and he looked like the winner, but Sakhee's had too much for him. Red Clubs was his normal consistant self, just found two of them too good for him today. He is a solid horse who deserves a gr1 win, but keeps finding one or two that are just slightly better for him.

I know.....

That's why I love him. I know how good he was... he doesn't have to prove anything anymore.

Happy for Red Clubs and yeah, someday.

Giganticus? Shocked but of course I'm happy for Robinson.

CAN THEY PLEASE RETIRE QUITO NOW????????

Start # 118.....

Enough.

I know 118 starts is a lot, but i think they tried to retire him, but when they put him in a big paddock with lots of grass he hated it and tried to escape (i think that was him).

He hasn't got the class he has anymore, but from seeing him today, his coat was gleaming, his ears were pricked, he was looking around at the crowd in the paddock as if to say "i'm here........ i love this sport". I'm glad to report he looked really happy, MMSC.

I'm happy about that anyway and no I had never heard the story...

Oh well.

118 just seems like too much but I've been wrong before.

Still, I'm always afraid for him.

I get worried about him, too....... but if he loves doing it (which he does) why stop him.

Persian Punch was the same, and i was SO upset when he went at Ascot but after a while, i realised that is what the horse would have wanted. He went doing something he loved, and everytime i think of him, i just smile

Its quite funny some horses just love to run, Eric musgrove had a jumper named Gilligan Loved to jump & did so until the age of 13 when they retired him , he was dead within 3 months after that Collic.
One of my horses had a foal but just loved to run so we put her back in work we got a couple o 2nds & was great to see the person i sold it to got a 3rd with her the other day .
It really does depend on the horses attitude i reckon why stop a animal doing what it loves to do ?.

If my horses tell me theyve had enough i reckon put em in a paddock as fast as you can better to have a Happy Hack Than a grouchie Racehorse
