Rock Heaven or Rock Haven. What about Middle Rock (middle for central, central Ohio)?
All the best and congratulations. Eric |

"Buckeyes Lose to Florida...AGAIN Farm"
I don't think I'd be doing myself any favors, but it *is* kinda funny. Z(and I'm a BIG OSU fan) |

when I think of Ohio I think of overcast skies with lots of rain
I think you should name the farm after my last dog Grey Star or you could use the other name I called her, Boogie boogie farm ?

"Largo Farms...and Equine Spa"
Kinda like that too! Just FYI,about my posting ID name, Largo is my most near and dear horse ever. My second horse, she came to me mostly untrained at age 3. I didn't know much about horses then, but I was an eager audience and she taught me well!! She was the first horse I ever galloped cross-country for miles and miles(and miles!) and I thank her for that privilege. I endurance raced her quite successfully for a couple years, then became too busy with school and work to compete. Now, 21 years later, she is still in my pasture(along with her obnoxious but equally treasured daughter), and at the ripe old age of 24 she is still sound and *thinks* she's still an endurance horse! I give lessons on her, but only to very confident riders, because she can still be too much to handle. But for the few riders that "click" with her, she is still an amazing ride, like riding watered silk. Suzanne |

stone valley...stonelea...stonehenge--stonehedge is down in florida. stoney creek--do ya have a creek? rock creek--in maryland, but who cares...
Wow, I live sorta near a "Stonecreek", but not near enough. It would be too confusing. I'm originally from Md., and know Rock Creek Park pretty well. "Something"(*not* Buckeyes are Losers) Creek Farm sounds very nice. I need to see if there is a creek near me, I bet there is. (and yeah, the whole Fla. thing will blow over, but the Buckeyes will continue to be a force in all sports)(sorry, had to fit that in there) (but too long for a farm name, dontcha think?) Suzanne |

Everyone's got such great suggestions. "Stone" does seem to be used in a lot of farms, i like using Largo or Rock/Rocky Creek... |

Lots of Good Luck in your
new home.May you have a long, healthy and prosperous life there. I hope that all of your horses thrive and stay happy, healthy, safe and sound. Wishing you and yours a happy life. How about Limestone Stables Rocky Ridge Rocks and Stones Ranch I also like some of the others that were suggested too.

"How about OSU Cheats Farm."
Geez, you guys are a tough crowd!!! I was away from my computer all day yesterday and just read all your farm name suggestions. Lots of great ones. Leaning towards "Rockland Farm", or something with "rock" or "stone" in it. Or possibly with my favorite horse's name"Largo" in it. Still deciding but thanks for all the suggestions. I probably *won't* go with "OSU Loses to Florida AGAIN Farms"!!! Thanks, Suzanne |

"OSU doesn't cheat, went there and knew many football and especially basketball players. I was sitting on the 42 yd line in Tempe when they beat Miami to win the national championship. Best football game I've ever been to."
Hay, thanks for that!! Its become popular to beat up on OSU,,,, must be the true sign of a winning program. I'm actually a Maryland Terrapin at heart, but I've been here so long that the Buckeyes are my main team now. Now I *must* check out Sommerfrosts thread about getting another horse! Suzanne |
