Just the fact that EVERY SINGLE FRIEND knows I want the window seat and I was hoping to finally sleep comfortably for more then 3 hours...instead I was sitting bitch with an IPOD that had little juice left

I hear you. Sitting bitch ain't no fun. Probably before your time, but there's an old Twilght Zone episode about a guy sitting in a window seat who sees a gremlin on the wing of the plane during a thunderstorm. Pre- Star Trek William Shatner. Worthy comedy.
