you took a fussy child to a sushi bar?

that has prevented a few future births by the other couples on early dates.

thanks for doing your part on the overpopulation problem.

I hate sushi... there's just something about raw fish that doesn't appeal to me.

Then what is it?

The last time I checked it was typically rice (with raw fish) wrapped in seaweed. If it's got raw fish or raw seafood of any kind in it, I'll pass. Thanks.

They great majority of it is cooked. Some of it is raw, but not all of it. Sushi is the name given to the way it is wrapped with rice and seaweed. Even California Rolls (vegetables) are called sushi.

Surprises me...I put you on the kinda person that would like sushi. I could eat it every day. They make a great spicy combo roll at the place I get it from. 4 pieces each of spicy shrimp, spicy salmon and spicy tuna. Only the tuna is raw, the other two are cooked.

Thought you knew me better than that, hun. I hate seafood... I'll eat tilapia or mahi every now and again, but if it smells like fish or the ocean, I can't handle it. I'm from the wrong state.

Daniel is on his second set of tubes! He would get ear infections every time he got a cold (which was/is a lot. ) He had been put on everything (including steroids) and nothing would kick them... I think it might be genetics. I had the same problem as a kid, but my Mom wouldn't put ear tubes in because they were so risky at the time. If the doctor tells me Dan needs them again, I refuse to put him through that crap again. He's also had his adnoids taken out.

Cajun,
My son also had ear infection after ear infection, took out his tonsils and anoids at about age 3 1/2 and has not been on an antibiotic since. Have you ever discussed this with your Dr. Interesting conversation, my son could eat french fries at every meal if we let him. Now 7 1/2 and still eats a very limited menu, very very frustrating.

Jamie this is just a statement and not meant to be offensive to you in anyway.I've heard horror stories about parents and their kids doctors.I hate going into Manhattan and dealing with the traffic but for these doctors i have no problem. Our childrens pediatrician is head of critical care at NYU and he noticed in our son in a split second years ago that his left eye was a little lazy and sent us to an eye doctor. Our son has been wearing glasses since 2.5 years old and in about 3 years will not need them anymore. How he saw that in a fraction of a second i'll never know but these doctors are the best.
