John,
If I had known this a month ago, I may have been able to, but I now have two bitches (LOL) living in the house with me and I don't think my landlord would jump at the idea of another one in the house too. So sorry...  I hope to God that you don't have to put either one of them in a shelter. I know that Mastiff rescue would probably take Gizmo, but not sure about Skippy. There isn't any way you can have a family member watch them for you until you get back on your feet?
