I agree with number one, number two is absolutely laughable, and the only way Zanjero can win a G1 is if he finds one with a four horse field like the mother goose or something. . .

I have to say, at no time after the opening 1/4 mile did I think he would win.
I also think that he is at his best when he is able to make the lead and sort of run them into submission rather than stalk and pounce. Sometimes I get the feeling he intimidates horses, like in the Wood. It seemed like no one wanted to run near him that day. I'm totally making excuses for him, but I truly think he is at his best closer to the front, if not on the lead. |
