The British appear to be very thorough. Scotland Yard takes its time so the fact they have made so many arrests so far confirms lots of blatant evidence. Very interesting they have arrested doctors.

I hope the British carry this as far as possible with so much evidence. With so many people involved, you know others knew what was going on and did not inform the authorities. They need to round them all up. A country cannot tolerate people who know innocent people are being targeted by a friend, etc... and sit passively, or they get interviewed and lie to hide the terrorists.
Dig deep on this one. The opportunity is there.

The best thing for that country would be for those demons to hire HandShadow Darden as their defense attorney.

does anyone else admire the way the British respond? They are so quick, professional, competent, effective. I don't know, its just something I've noticed over the years. When Scotland Yard is on the case you can rest assured that they'll get to the bottom of it.

I agree. I also like the idea of the security cameras. Seems like the public and government allow their police alot more freedom to do their job. Sometimes I think our government and civil rights groups hamper our police efforts.

oooooo

it's a fine line there...but then, how much of an expectation of privacy can you have in public? tricky business!

True but personally, I don't mind being filmed if it helps keep us safe. We've been videotaped in stores for years and I've never felt my rights were being violated.

i bet you wouldn't feel that way if you were a shoplifter! lol
it's always amusing to me when you see someone getting arrested, suddenly they know more about law then any cop or lawyer. it's truly amazing.

thing is tho...a lot of people say 'oh, i'm willing to give up some rights'--but which ones? and i'm not. now, in a public place, like i said, how much expectation of privacy can you have? by the same token, i don't want to live where there are cameras on every corner. yes, you want to feel safe from the bad guys. BUT, sometimes govt can be just as dangerous. it's tricky for sure.
