Has anyone heard what Trump is doing? The NYC slots will sink his AC interests. I wouldn't be surprised to see him make some alliances pretty quickly. |

The shady mobsters in NYRA will pay off the right people. They shouldn't get it and some should be in jail, but it is NY where the word legal means nothing.

Wouldnt it be nice IF Horse Racing Fans (company) became the owners and put more back into NY racing to give the fans what they need.... Ohhhhh well I guess I can dream toooo ? After the BS in New Jersey last week, its time to take POLITICIANS Out of Gambling !

Politcians? Well...Joe Bruno has had a lot to say already. Other interests? I can't wait to see a late move by the Donald. In the interest of NY racing, I hope that NYRA retains the francise. They'll have the tracks, MGM will have the slots. Land disputes will be settled later. It's only been, like for the past two years that Aqueduct was supposed to have slots...right? btw...slots increase purses if it's done right. |

For as much as I've been complaining about NYRA recently, I'd still prefer to see NYRA retain the franchise. I'd be concerned with any changes or other plans any other entity may have for the NY tracks... not that I have any particular suspicions of anyone, just like for things to stay the way they are.

Now, you make a post here where you refer, generically, to employees at NYRA as " shady mobsters " and say that some of them should be in jail. I suppose this is a responsible post to you? Of course, it has as much validity as the garbage you spewed last week. So, what it would really be is the status quo from you. Who are these " shady mobsters "? What specifically have they done that both makes them " shady monsters " and should also land them in jail? Nothing like a little hypocracy to expose someone. |
