Did she also, then, write that ridiculous post about throwing people out of the track?
I'm not condoning poor behavoir by fans, but there sure is a misguided approach by way too many people who work at the track about fans' rights, and who pays to put on the show. I read an article earlier this year that jockeys should read where Derek Jeter was quoted as saying, essentially, " I have never heard of a professional athlete telling the fans how to behave. " |

i think it is. i don't think that the punishment should have been any different if it was only witnessed by one person. mob rule shouldn't apply--people called to complain, they should have said 'we're aware of the situation, and it will be handled accordingly'.

I'll let her tell me whether or not she was serious but you may be right. Do I think the suspension was too severe? Probably. But I also think Eibar Coa getting 10 days a few months ago in NY for using a horse as a weapon in an attempt to injure another rider was downright insane. Certainly that was far worse than what Molina did. |

personally, i don't act like an ass--but some choose to do so, and i'd imagine they think it's just fine--and probably funny. but you can't start tossing people out because they're idiots or say idiotic things.
