As I write this there have been 79 replies to the thread about Invasor being retired, and 124 replies to the thread about Scat Daddy being retired.
Does that seem a bit backwards to anybody else?

Joel "The Prophet" Cunningham didn't give out Invasor at 3/5 in his debut, so who cares about Invasor?

True, but I debated whether just to stick it in the general ongoing "Retirements" thread or to give him his own. I wasn't sure he deserved an entire thread about his retirement. I thought it would be about 5 people saying "Who cares?" and Cajun saying "That sucks!!!!"

Are you insinuating that I'm the only one who gives a rip about Scat Daddy on this board?

Kinda funny that you brought this up in the Invasor thread... it's now littered with Scat Daddy posts. LOL

Good point. Scat Daddy discussions have been like a virus around here. Let's get back to the champ.
I hope Invasor has a really good stud career. His pedigree lacks so many of the familiar names in American racing (No Mr. P!) that he could do some good things for the breed here.

That's probably because there's more of a debate about how good Scat Daddy was.. there's no debate about the quality of Invasor.

Invasor won six Grades 1's in a row. No doubt he was the best champion since Ghostzapper. He deserves 1000 posts.
