![]() I've got to say that I've been to stadiums/arenas all over the world and there are certain venues that just have something very special about them. Back in the ol' days, there was nothing -- nothing even close -- to Madison Square Garden for a NY Knicks game. Even better was the Garden on fight night (a very long time ago, LOL).
Attending a Montreal Canadiens game in the legendary and hallowed halls of the Montreal Forum -- words cannot describe it. The Molson Arena, now called the Bell Center Arena -- taking nothing away from it -- doesn't have a glimmer of the electricity or excitement that the old Forum had. Now, if it was a Cup game, forget about words, LOL. When Montreal scored and the crowd went wild -- the arena shook! You felt the vibration throughout the entire building, and it came up through the floor right through your legs. Watching the Boston Celtics play in the "gahden" was also something very special. Ceasars Palace, back in the day, on fight night was incredible. The Superdome in New Orleans was also an incredible stadium. Eric |
