yeah, the drop back is a big concern for me. i never like seeing it for a juvenile and only the really good ones seems to be able to handle it, esp this early in the season.. Pencil Hill's time was very quick at the Curragh last time and he easily coped with the step down to 5f as I thought he needed every inch of 6f the last time.. It'll be interesting to see what colours he races in come Ascot..
