James is going to wipe the floor with Bowen's ass just like Carmelo Anthony does every time SA plays Denver. He's just not strong enough.

Spurs should win, maybe even in 5 games, but the line is way too high on the series.
Washington... tough!!! Lord help me.
Detroit flat out imploded.

No way Cleveland would have made it to the Western conference finals. In fact they probably would have real difficulty with Denver first round and be out early as ever.

Bowen gets scored on by everyone because he is the only guy who covers the best player on almost every team the Spurs play. But he tires them down by the end of a series. It has happened in the first 3 series.

Bowen is the most versatile defender in the league. Name a player that will do better on Nash, Mello, Iverson, and Lebron?

He will be in foul trouble early, count on it.

It really depends on the refs and Bowen.

The refs watch him super close and Bowen lays off... no.
I think Bowen is really good at pushing the envelope on this and reading the refs calls thereby interpreting what type of game he needs to play.

Lebron will do as he pleases. Bowen will have to adjust. The refs have probably talked about how they will call this matchup extensively. I look for Bowen to flop early on a drive in San Antonio to test the waters. Guaranteed Bowen already knows exactly when he will flop. He has probably watched every Lebron drive and looked for the times when he ducked his shoulders with his head away from the basket or looking down.

The refs have been more visible this year. I look for Pops to use bowen mostly on Lebron, but switch off the speedy Parker and tough Ginobli to bother Lebron! Heck...let him get his 30...Spurs can shut down the rest!

Definitely will see more of Parker and Ginobili later in the series. Especially after Lebron rebounds and brings the ball up himself. Lebron will probably have Duncan posterized a couple of times also. He already has one great picture... Duncan cant jump. Just cant let Lebron get up a head of steam early. Thats when he gets really tough.

Kinda of like trying to hit a good runningback behind the line of scrimmage.
I am still amazed. 6' 8" 240 lbs of pure athlete. As strong as any forward in the league and now attempting to become Kobe from the outside. The kid is really amazing. A physical freak. That muscular playing bball at his age.
I look back and feel sorry for T. Prince.

I found a huge finger nail biting flaw in his off court game.

Great defender, but his head deletes the talent.

Bowen gets away with bad defensive practices that we try to teach NOT to do, because he has such super quick feet and hands. The man can actually stay upright while playing defense.

I watched him flabbergasted telling my daughter you have got to get on the balls of your feet and maintain a good position, bend your damn knees and slide your feet quickly. Keep your hands quickly active, stay in front of your man, and then take taps at the ball. If you are in front of your man and jab at the ball, refs rarely call a rake. But if you are out of position and reach... forget it, you can make a clean pick and the refs knee jerk reaction is a foul.

And then she watches Bowen... I say forget him, he is special. I still am amazed. This guy, out of the prime of his physical career, can play the type of defense he does. For very long periods of time.

So yes. I love defense. Because it is infinitely more difficult and physically taxing than offense. Thats why I got such a kick out of AND ONE on ESPN. BABY, BABY, SPIDA... climbing the rims while no one defends him. BABY.

Let's hope the series is over in the shortest possible number of games.
