I've been out of college for a long time. Had some good times there. I met my best friend there. We've been through alot together and even today, no matter how bad a day it's been, she's only a phone call away.

Graduated about 20 years ago from SUNY at Oneonta, that was a great time. I dream about it often at night as if I was still there and still that young. We drank 8 nights a week and to be able to afford it we had to drink those Genny Cream Ales

I actually studied.
Did not drink... much. Enjoyed the heck out of it. Great times. UT had some of the most beautiful girls in the world. A good % of them were attracted to nerds/future husbands. Music was fantastic in Austin late 70's early 80's. But... been there done that, I don wanna go back. Quite pleased with the way things turned out. Hope all you guys/gals will be also. Enjoy. Turn the lights out when you leave and get on with it. Lots more to do and see.

Wow, I don't miss college at all! I mean, I'm glad I went, it was a great experience and I did meet some good people and have some fun. But, my broke-@$$ had to work 2 and 3 jobs all the way through college. I worked at a bar 5 nights a week, then got up at 4 am to study. Cleaned 40-some stalls every morning before 8 am classes. (so I could afford to keep my horses!) I was the chick running in to class late almost everyday, with mud, hay and horse hair flying all over! Then all weekend I worked doing collections for GE. And somehow I still had time to party??¿¿ *AND* still got pretty decent grades. I look back now and don't know how I did it. But I'm glad its OVER!! Now, having said all that, I should probably admit that I just recently applied and was accepted into an online college program to further my education. :O I just finished my first semester(while working 56 hours/week)(yes, I'm a glutton for punishment!!). It was more fun this time around. Plus no one had to see all the mud, hay and horse hair stuck to me! Just remember, every day is a new adventure. You're going to meet new people and have new experiences.New good times!

Yeah it is a great town, and I haven't been back for almost 20 years now. Would love to go back & visit ( maybe when I am in Saratoga this summer I will try to make a side trip ). Don't remember much about the South Side, remember eating in a Diner there from time to time and a grocery store we frequented. Spent a lot of time at Red's , Paradise, Dark Horse and yes the OST. Brooks BBQ was the best & I wonder if it is still there.
