And this is the only one she had a REAL chance in. Anybody want to wager a guess on her odds at post time? I'll guess 4-1.

I think you will find around here, this is not true. Early on, nobody even thought she belonged with the boys, and only raced against weak fields. With only 3 races prior to the big events, who could blame them.

I believe the horse that finished third in the Derby and won the Preakness went into the Derby with only three prior races, all against weak fields. If u are good, u are good. Her ability is not determined by who she races against; only her results are.

And I'm guessing Prado hasn't been working too hard to find a mount for this race as soon as he saw Gomez and JV get other mounts. He's been waiting on Coolmore's decision.

Maybe Gomez will go all "Billy Donovan" and jump ship back to Rags, while Dominguez takes the mount on Hard Spun and wins by open lengths
