and, after four days, the bloom is off the rose, orlando is going to let him out of his contract before the ink is dry, and back to gator-ville he goes.

and they say women can't make up their minds! pfffft.

apparently this is much easier because he hasn't signed the deal yet..only agreed in principle.....see these college guys always think the grass is greener.....these guys are heros in their towns...they make millions of dollars, can do no wrong, but they have to test the next level....well lucky for him, he figured it out before it was too late...

Actually, according to ESPN, BD has signed the contract...and the Magic immediately received 200 season ticket orders! The question is not whether he'll go back to UF, but whether there will be a financial impact to get out of contract!

Not only did he sign, it does indeed sound like Orlando is going to hold him to it. Timm... this is really strange. What does Orlando gain by holding him to the contract? Are they trying to change his mind again with the threat of losing $. That would be bizarre...

"Hi. I am Billy Donovan fresh out of coaching college. I am now your new professional basketball coach, but I really dont want to be here"

That does not work for Orlando. He really has to go back to Florida. But is Orlando really going to try and go legal on him and hurt him monetarily? Florida will of course take him back with open arms, crying and sobbing.

This is really an interesting story.

He can stay at Florida until he dies, if that's what he wants. If he went to the NBA he's make $10 Mil more over the next 5 years but most likely would have got fired after 2-3 years. Guess he figured 3.5 million a year is enough, especially since he'll have a job for as long as he wants.

I heard his wife didn't want to move. I blame her for the whole thing.
