As you say, the slow opening 1/4, and that is very slow for Churchill, probably contributed to the lower time more than anything else. |

![]() Whatever I decide to go with for a speed figure, and the Beyer is definitely in the ballpark, the pace figure will be much lower, about 16 points. In other words, the race was over very early.
I don't think anyone needed numbers to know that. |
