![]() Western Revenge ran a great race Monday. Closest race I've ever lost as an owner.
He's really coming around ... hoping he can continue to advance. Purchased him on Sept 10, 2001 (same day as Offlee Wild). His sire is Gone West ... everyone knows what happened Sept 11. Named him as a result of the day after his purchase. He's earned over 100k but is running better now than ever. I hope. LR |

![]() Hope you don't mind my round(s) of questions.. but it's neat to me to be able to ask an owner about his horses that I follow... what's the latest on Not Phone and First Sam? Do you have any idea when either one will make it back to the track for a race?

![]() The rule of thumb w/ horses: injury.
Not Phone was injured in the Jaiper ... had a chip taken out of his left front ankle and a shin splint removed. He's out of training for 3 months. Not sure if I'll send him back or not. He's 8, but he was born in Argentina (Nov), so he is closer to 7 in US age. He's lightly raced. We'll see how he recoups. Sam is doing fine. He missed 6 weeks of training b/c of the broken ribs suffered in the Blue Grass. We hope to get him back to the races in the fall. LR |
