Congrats on a year of DT. By far the best source of racing information, selectiions and entertainment there is.

Let's hope today is made even more special by a good run by Sumwon.

Good Luck and Thanks

Congrats Steve and thanks to all that make this such a great place to soak up racing information. This board is truly a duke's mixture and that just might be what makes it work so well.

I can't wait to watch Sumwon today, I think if she's on her game she'll do just fine.

Steve,
Thanks for everything. What you have done here on both fronts is really amazing. I won't be at the race today but hope to for the next race.

Well I missed the first half of the first year, but am thankful for DT being around. It's a source of sanity on most days, and I'm already trying to figure out what I'm going to do without internet access at home for over a month once I leave for Chicago next weekend. It's going to be a sad time, and I won't have as much time at work to surf.

With that said, it's just good to know it's here and that there is a great group of intelligent horseplayers who are capable of smashing carryover pools and offering thoughts on affordable pick-4 wagers.

GOOOOOO SUMWON!!! (I'm going to have to put myself on DT hiatus starting at 4:15 today, because I need to go home and watch the race for myself before hearing about it!)

Yes, GROUP HUG EVERYBODY ....... seriously, Steve, it goes equally both ways - I'm so pleased I stumbled upon this site. Hey, I GOT TO MEET STEVE HASKIN

So let's get down to the important stuff

Here's the CD website handicapper perspective: Jill Byrne Analysis (meet record: 150 38-29-18 percentages: 25% Win - 57% ITM)

Race 7 - LE CHATEAU (1) was overmatched in the Grade II Fairgrounds Oaks after she had scored an impressive maiden win. She is training well for her first local main track effort and does not meet a particularly strong field of first level allowance fillies. HUMBLE JANET (2) was claimed by the Asmussen stable out of an easy victory as the favorite at Oaklawn. Her last two races are good enough to make her a factor with this group. PHILIPS PRIDE (6) has been racing on the turf and Polytrack recently and looks like the best speed today. She has some good local works and could take this field gate-to-wire. 1-2-6
