I'm sure they probably did...for the first time in their lives, they would have had folks advising them on dress etc as well as their singing! Jordin at 17 is, as Buffy said, a "normal" girl figure wise, they can finetune that if it's decided that it would help her image, what she does have is a very pretty face and a great personality...those are much harder to change so she's ahead of the game.

Somer you know whats amazing there was another thread on this board about Mike Vick and what transpired with him and the moronic statements of Clinton Portis and you just pray to g-d that they don't have kids which most probably is wishful thinking,because who knows what kind of values they would instill in them.Then you look at Jordin whose father is Fillippe Sparks (i'm sure i botched the spelling) who was a cornerback for the NY Giants and look at the job he and his wife have done raising her.

Yeah, we hear about the bad, the failures...but in truth...lots of sport stars went on to be excellent parents and citizens, take Calvin Hill for example. I favored Melinda in this competition but I can't help but admire Jordin and I'm sure she will be a star...and remain the young woman she is today, her parents have indeed a lot to be proud of!

Just like Chris Daughtry last year....to think that Taylor Hicks won over him is nuts....

Ruben's voice is more subdued and controlled now. Taylor is a more polished singer and performer now, he wasnt bad but he wasnt great either. Kelly Clarkson well what can I say I love her, Carrie was aight.

Smokey and Tony Bennett were nice touches to the show
