Serenity has now finally broken through and made a profit (thanks to DVD sales) and I suspect a young ,sexy, witty detective with a fractured love life would be easier to market to the general public than a space western. They would have to hurry because Ms Bell is hot now, she will have a lot of offers and deservedly so...if they can't put something together fast, they'll find themselves in the situation Joss did with Buffy...no SMG! Without Ms Bell, there could be no VM.
