The Guild is the best thing that ever happened to racing. That legislation scares the hell out of me. These things have a way of getting passed sometimes. Not that its a perfect example, but the boxing act comes to mind. Besides, what the hell do politicians know about the horse business? In Kentucky, nothing. The only thing most of our general assembly knows about the game is what they learned betting $2 to show on Pat Day at Keeneland once a year.
