Pgardn: sorry to disagree but the best hands by a 'big man' go to Bill Walton on the TrailBlazers Championship team! If not for bad knees..Walton could have been a real force in NBA.....That Blazer team was the epitome of team play. And Scuds..it does appear that Bowen is cheapshot artist, with intent to hurt an opposing player. Where's Stuey??

For many years the Spurs have been considered the dirty team of the NBA. LOL Cmon Scuds. That is NOT why you dislike the team. And this is the FIRST YEAR anyone has called the TEAM dirty. They were always considered soft, too nice, that was always their problem. Got to come up with other excuses after 3 championships.
Bowen does get under people on their jump shot. I really dont like that as I have torn ligaments in both ankles because of sprains caused by landing on the feet. And it definitely plays with a scorers head. As far as going for Stoudamire's Achilles, thats pure BS.
There is no way to aim an hit the achilles while players are moving that fast, it was a ridiculous statement. The radio guys for Phoenix even said this. He did make some strange move at his leg though. But to say he was aiming at the corner side of the left big toe in order to cause injury is stupidity. Bowen plays head games with the players on other teams that cannot maintain composure. He has covered Nash most of the series because he is the best defender on the team. Bowen will not even talk trash to Nash because it is totally ineffective, in fact he knows it is counter productive.
AND FOR GOD'S SAKE RAJA BELL IS EVERY BIT AS "CLEVER DIRTY" as Bowen and you make NO mention of him. Get real. The Spurs had no way to win in this game even if they won on the score board. This team finds a way to win while playing poorly(last night they were bad) which is always what winning teams are able to do. Find a way.

The NBA absolutely hates the Spurs being in the Championship. TV revenues plummet. Believing there is some ulterior motive for keeping the Spurs in is stupidity.

Scuds you do not become the winningest modern sports frachise by being stupid. Just because a team does not come from the West or East coast you have to hate them. Who is your NBA team Scuds...? So you think Bowen picked out Stoudamire's achilles and went for that spot, on purpose? He knowingly picked out the achilles and kicked at the Achilles... right. No way. Its way to hard to react that fast. This is the same guy that accused Ginobili of kicking him in the gonads (which btw is much easier when you are in the air trying to make space and the other player is stationary on the floor trying to draw a charge). Yet there is a perfect picture of Steve Nash doing the exact same thing to Kobe. They show Nash's foot directly on Kobe's groin.
Amare is a whiner, young and stupid. So this kind of stuff only goes on with the Spurs. Raja Bell and Steve Nash had never had repeated incidents of this kind. Right.

And Scuds you of course are the only one who has seen 1:08 through 1:11 so you know from the picture intent to go for the achilles. You know Bowen was going for the Achilles. And the Phoenix people themselves say it is very doubtful he could accurately hit that spot with a player in motion. Great.
I dont like Bowen getting under people on jump shots, I will say that. And you also have to realize Bowen is not the only player that does this. What Bowen does is talk trash and get under jump shooters. He is a master at taking people out of their game. And it is totally to play head games. Bell is great at flopping, sticking the elbow on the pick, grabbing, tripping, he is Bowen with too much emotion. Unable to talk good trash like Bowen, because Bowen does not believe a thing he is saying.
