I just said this on another forum -- I'm not sure why people keep accusing him of being "drunk".
I think he is just not well-suited to live interviews. And so I'm not sure why they keep putting him into a situation he's clearly not comfortable with. Live TV just doesn't seem to be his cup of tea.

If you watch, it's like he forgets to breathe and every so often his body tries to make him breathe whether he likes it or not. The nerves mess with his articulation I'm sure.

you'd think they would work with the guy, if they want him on tv, least they could do is make him somewhat comfortable.

that's his style...personally, i like a unique personality on air...i don't crave for slick media types out of cookie cutter molds...don't you all see enough pretty talking heads all day long on tv ever day allready ? geesh.
