yup; there's some awsome names on this list. my partner just submitted our name for our month old colt to the jockey club for approval. what do you all think about naming your foal (with the goal being auction) vs. leaving it unnamed for the yearling buyer ?

I used to work for a commercial breeding farm and they never named a foal...the reason being that naming it is one of the most fun parts of buying/owing a horse (apart from winning of course).

Nah that's for a boat or ship, not a horse. So I'mawildandcrazyguy would've won the Derby if he'd remained Cupcake Melee?
