pletcher has 1/4th of the entrants, and fails to hit the board....
hey, how about some grade one status finally for the ark derby??? oaklawn again a force in preps, with the second and third place horses both having run in arkansas. surprised by curlin--and wildncrazyguy. proud of hard spun, he won most of it  ....props to street sense, i think i've told everyone for days now not to leave him off their tickets.

I was really disappointed in No Biz - he killed my superfecta! Of course, had he won then the payout would not have been as big but I still could have cashed a ticket.

matter of fact, if you look in the derby rankings thread--i have the ex cold. but not the tri, i didn't put a third place horse!! i just typed 'everyone else'. came true for sure.

Sumitas....PLEASE delete your last post before avance sees it. He will go on a huge rant about how Invasor was not the favorite last year, and I would rather not listen to yet another Bernardini vs Invasor harangue from him on Derby Day.

I HIT THE TRIFECTA HEAD ON!!!!! I ALSO GOT THE EXACTA! I could kick myself for being so cheap! I played a straight 2.00 exacta on Street Sense and Hard Spun, than a 2.00 trifecta on Street Sense - Hard Spun- Curlin! I want to thank whoever started the Derby Superfecta thread, I decided to put my money where my mouth was, my brother in law was at the Wynn in Las Vegas and called me this morning to see who I liked, he told me he'd place my bets for me! I won 548.00!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I never bet actual money, my brother in law just happens to be in Vegas for the De La Hoya fight and called! I was screaming like a wild woman just thinking I hit the exacta, I wasn't aware that Curlin was in 3rd, when I saw the finish posted I almost fainted on the spot!!!
