In fact on the turn the whole field is obscured for several seconds by the mammoth box structure that they have erected on the infield. This is a critical part of the race and you won't be able to follow you horse making a move in the derby so that so drunken people in boxes can have a blast.
The ESPN producers must read derbytrail. Now instead of showing the section of the race that is obstructed by the tents, they cut away to the blimp shot for those five seconds which helps but still is disorienting to follow. As soon as you find your horse in the overhead shot they cut back and you have to re-adjust.

I cant wait till Kenny asks the Queen where she gets her hair done cause he thinks it would do wonders for his look while sipping tea. Sorry. I love the guy.

If Jamie Sanders is anything like my neighbor, she leaves her front door wide open year round and lets all the flies in... I'd give good money to know if she has a pit bull at home.

Did anybody catch that last interview where Dominican supposedly ran a quarter in under 12 seconds? Oh boy. The trainer's expression was awesome. He was trying so hard not to correct him.

So he was basically falling off a building while running. I guess hes a throwout based on time and circumstance.

Kenny's in rare form. How many Governors get asked if they're still in the Communist party at the Kentucky Derby by other interviewers? That's right, not that many.

Am I a bad person if I admit that I don't like tearful human interest stories?
