![]() just getting a rise off you.. Id love Teo to destroy the field but the setback just scares me....shame HRE isnt there, but we got George back at least...
heres something from racingpost: FFRAAJ will shuttle to the Auckland-based Haunui Stud in New Zealand for the upcoming southern hemisphere season, where he will stand for NZ$12,000 (£4,454/€6,523) + GST. The six-year-old son of Zafonic is currently serving a book of 150 mares at a fee of €12,000 in his first northern hemisphere season at Darley's Kildangan Stud. “We had been made aware that Iffraaj was available and the more we found out about the horse, the harder it was to find any other that matched his credentials,” Mark Chitty of Haunui Farm told New Zealand Thoroughbred Update. “He scored a tick in every box of our stallion section criteria and when we compared him to other horses that were available, there was just no contest.” Iffraaj's finest moment came when defeating a high-class field by four lengths in the Group 2 Lennox Stakes. He also registered back-to-back victories in the Group 2 Park Stakes and finished a head second to Les Arcs in the Group 1 July Cup. From the immediate family of Cape Cross, Diktat and Russian Rhythm, Iffraaj will be limited to 120 mares.

![]() upbeat quote on Teo from Jim Bolger
"I'm very happy with him and he worked exceptionally well on Saturday morning for Kevin Manning over six and a half furlongs on our wood chip gallop, the gallop we do most of our work on," said Bolger.

![]() I don't think the 'setback' is anything to worry about. Have you seen the interview with Bolger on ATR?? He is very confident, and the horse looked as fit as a flea.
I think he will win, i'd be worried about something coming fast and wide though. He looks in the same mould as Giant's Causeway, he will fight off all battles that he can see in time. I've backed Haatef though, i backed him at the end of January and got 33's, so i'm happy with that. He finished fourth in a very hot Dewhurst on only his second start!!!! And he should have finished 3rd. |
