Ginn, the one with substandard hands. Please, this kid is quick as ice, but he's never going to be a solid nfl reciever. Quinn would have given them stability at qb, but instead they take someone who really is not healthy and when speed is your main attribute, thats not good. The dolphins screwed the pooch. Saying all that though quinn is taking it very well. By now i would have gone berserk and would have been destroying the green room and telling the espn reporters to gfy .

Bingo. They noticed what the kid for Chi town did for the Bears last year and what Dante Hall had done for the Chiefs. The position has become an impact spot. And he is your two or three receiver. Having stated the following, I would not have done this. I think an arguement could be made that they might have waited and still got Ginn.

I think u have it right. Without Hester, Chicago gets nowhere close to the Super Bowl. Dante Hall almost single-handedly carried the Chiefs for a while. Desmond Howard was a Super Bowl MVP wasn't he? Eric Metcalf anyone? Not only has the position become an impact spot, guys are much more able to come in and make an IMMEDIATE impact from those positions. A guy that plays strictly at wide receiver, say he catches 80 passes a season. That's five a game. Maybe he gets about 8-10 carries a year on reverses. So u have around 90 times a season that he handles the ball. A guy that handles it on punts and kick returns and also as a receiver has many more chances to make an impact on a game. Last year, Donte Hall handled the ball 115 times. The year before that, it was 154 times. Devin Hester handled it 79 times last year and didn't even play on offense. I would want my most exciting and potential game breaking players to handle the ball as much as I can get it in their hands. In my opinion, Ginn has as much chance to be an impact player as Johnson or any other player does.

The Browns made out like Bandits. They had their 3rd overall pick down to Quinn and Thomas, and took the big man Thomas, but also ended up landing Quinn later. They have 2 of the top 3 picks in this years draft in their eyes, and this has to be one of the biggest steals of all time.

Brady Quinn showed that he is a class act, and I know he will be a very good QB for a long time in the NFL. I am a NINERS fan, but go BROWNS as well!!!

You can use whatever u want in your signature, I don't take care. I just find it funny how you guys thought it was the "cool" thing to do and that you looked sweet if you took something that someone said and put it as your signature. Whatever floats your boat.

The Dolphins apparently fulfilled this year's quota for dumbest pick. Although they didn't graduate with the marks the Texans did last year, I still can't believe they didn't pick Quinn. Now I'm no Quinn fan and personally I think he's way over rated, but he was the one to take. No doubt about that...

As a Bills fan it is extremely tough for me to defend the Dolphins but more than likely they came away with a QB in the second round that they had evaluated to be just as good as Quinn. Plus they got the second receiver in the draft who wouldn't have been there in the 2nd round. It is easy to sit here and say they made a dumb pick but in a couple years if Beck is a better QB than Quinn it will have turned out they were smart to skip Quinn especially if Ginn becomes a solid NFL player. OK, now that I'm sick to my stomach from defending them you can all resume your bashing.
