Tiger owns or shares the record for the lowest score under par in every major. He owns 3 outright...and only shares the record in the PGA Championship (18 under par)with Bob May, whom he later beat by 1 shot in a 3 hole playoff.

They guy won 3 straight USGA Juniors and 3 straight USGA Am's. That is winning 36 STRAIGHT match play matches...

Boston Celtics-8 in-a-row, 9 in 10 yrs.

Michael Johnson-200m WR in atlanta olympics 19.32
Michael Johnson-400m WR, 43.18
Mike Powell Long Jump WR, 29' 4 1/2"

my personal favorite freakish record, Edwin Moses 400m Hurdle winning streak. 1976-1987, 9 yrs-9 months-9 days, 122 races.
