Slew's Tizzy seems to be leaning towards a go (60-40)

Steve-

I noticed that Imawildandcrazyguy is entered at Calder on Saturday. . . What would you make of this? I'm assuming it's a back-up plan if it looks like he won't get in to the Derby by then. . .

Would have to be as the horse is with Storm in May in Kentucky right now.. Should it look by Thursday that he is going to be hard-pressed to get in, I guess Kaplan would ship him home. Will check with him today about when he'll make a decision.

Are you beginning to believe in Buffy's Tiznow baby? I really hope he does win the derby. Would be SWEET for Tiznow to have a Derby winner.

I loved everything about him the other day. Maybe I should give pause because it came over the poly, but he looked really good winning.

He does run well on Poly. I am wondering "is it just the poly or is he finally figuring out this running thing?" He looks like he is a big boy and maybe is just figuring out that huge stride.

In the beginning of the year, I had a vibe a Tiznow coming out of the Louisiana Derby would win the Derby... in all honesty, I still think that Liquidity has a better shot than Slew's Tizzy, but I'll pull for him for you, Buffy.

We may get better odds on your Tiznow Cajun. Slew's recent win will bring his odds down a bit. Lets put our longshot $$$ on yours.

Honestly, I don't think he will win the derby, but I so WANT HIM TO. Tizzy is a good looking colt.

Steve, according to today's DRF, Imawild is at Calder and will be shipped to Kentucky early next week if he's going to run in the Derby:

Trainer Bill Kaplan said Monday that he is taking a wait-and-see attitude with Imawildandcrazyguy, who is still at Calder in Florida.

"We're still planning to run in the Derby if it looks like we can get in, but because of the current situation regarding graded earnings and where we stand on the list, I'm also going to enter him in the Unbridled Stakes at Calder for Saturday," Kaplan said. "We'll then have several days to monitor the situation before making a final decision. We can always scratch Saturday and ship him to Kentucky early next week if it looks like he will get into the Derby field."

But I don't think "Whizzy" has a chance in hell.
