Yeah, I was surprised they kept him up too.. he was all over the place in the stretch.. I only saw the head-on, but it looked like he bothered at least 1 horse.

It feels like there should have been an inquiry, though the pan is worse than the head on, and it is debatable how much he interfered with anyone. But, I've seen less come down.....I guess. I think the supposed interference is mostly illusionary.

I'm all for less takedowns.

There was a horse disqualified from 2nd place yesterday at KEE, wore saddlecloth #4 I believe....it was a monumentally bad takedown in my opinion.

I agree. It was in the 4th and cost me an exacta.

Looked to me like there was no contact. The 4 horse veered in, but was clear of the horse behind.

Yes its always debatable, the actual amount of interference. But what is shocking to me is the lack of consistency applied across the country, when it comes to the criteria that is used to determine a DQ.

How often have you seen a winner get taken down for slightly bumping a backpedaling leader as he goes by? Especially if the jockey on the backpedlaing horse stands up and checks hard. we had some great actors out here at Arlington last year that should have won academy awards for their performances.

Like a soccer player trying to draw a foul by doing a flop, same thing!
