Remember that Dominican was gelded last year. And since his gelding he is on fire. He also was 3rd beind Tiz Wonderful (who would demolish this Derby field) and Any Given Saturday and he finished 4th 1/ 2 length behind Street Sense in the Washington. If I remember correctly that day the track was muddy and Dominican stumbled at the start. He has some legitimacy on dirt. I think he has a reasonable shot on Derby day.

I'm sure it's gotta be painful but it's been a few months since that's happened. Maybe they should get him checked out.
