Deadly Dealer crushed FFC at least twice. It might have cost him a placing. Curlin sure looked good. He won like a future book favorite should but geez, he'll be running the Derby in his 4th start.

If anyone was curious but too lazy to look for themselves...
The debuting maiden finished last, beaten 55 lengths. Going Ballistic got beat a nose for 4th, and one length for 2nd. The horses racing 2-3-1 after a 1/4 mile ran 1-2-3. The maiden was racing 4th after a 1/4 mile...... I heard someone mention the same connections have an unraced maiden nominated to the Ky Oaks....poor horsey. |
