Can you tell me... which was the race he won by 8 or 9? I'd love to see it..... Do you get much news from Chile? I've been wondering about Desert Fight who I've heard nothing from since she was scratched from the UAE Oaks. That win of hers in the Clasico Mil Guineas..... wow! She is one awesome girl, as I'm sure you know..... Any idea where she's heading? What do you know about Hush Money? I remember hearing about her a while back..... wish i could remember the race. (Chilean Derby?). Who are you excited about? Can you share some names? Thanks! |

I've made a mistake. Looking more carefully now, this is Husson's career by now:
1st start (2yo) - win by 8 lenghts at Palermo race course; 2nd start (2yo) - win by 9 lenghts at GP Raul Y Raul E.Chavalier (G1). Track record (1.400m turf - 78.98s). Last 200m in 11.0 seconds at San Isidro race course; 3rd start (2yo) - win by 1 lenght (Asiatic Boy second) at Gran Premio Gran Criterium (G1) - 92.88s (1.600m turf) with chinked knee in the last meters. San Isidro race course 9 month layoff 4th start (3yo) - win by a neck at Clásico Benito Villanueva (G2) - 93.48s. (1.600m turf) San Isidro race course I haven't heard from Desert Fight since then too...but when she was in Chile she was the leader of her generation...simply awesome as you said... 7 starts and 6 wins (2 G1, 2 G2 and a G3), if I am not wrong. His father is Hussonet, same as Husson. That win of Hush Money was on the Derby, where she beat the boys. She also won the Chilean Oaks. She has 4 wins and a 2nd place in 6 starts. Hir father? Husson again I have to go out now...I will search for Husson's video and the I come with some interesting names I'm excited about...the first one I can remember quickly is brazilian Zardana (Crimson Tide)...what a filly!! See you! |

There are too many talented horses around here...I am sure I will forget a lot, but here is a couple of them:
Just to mention that I'm from Brazil, so I have more knowledge about this country! Brazil (main tracks - Cidade Jardim at São Paulo state and Gavea at Rio de Janeiro): Colina Verde (3yo filly) - 1st winner of São Paulo's state Triple Crown for fillies since 1973. Just sold to Team Valor in the US. Team Valor said it was the highest price ever paid for a filly by them and that she is the best filly in their barn since Ipi Tombe. Incredible filly!! You must see her 3 wins on the TC; Top Hat (4yo horse) - Front runner. Unbeatable here at 10f on the turf. Track record at this distance of 116.3s; Quick Road - 3yo colt, extremely talented, Sao Paulo's derby winner. Will run Rio de Janeiro's derby this sunday. 3 G1 wins and 3 G1 2nd places in 10 starts (6 of them on G1 races); Old Gipsy (5yo horse...a little bit old) - best brazilian dirt sprinter. 11 wins in 19 starts. 7 in a row. Track record holder at 1.100m and 1.200m; Kik-Malo - 3yo colt, one of the best brazilian turf sprinters. 6 wins (last 6 in a row) from 10 starts; Baind Douche - Sao Paulo's 2yo colt leader; Zardana - Rio de Janeiro's 2yo filly leader; Cruzada Americana, Many Thanks and Regenerada - Sao Paulo's 2yo filly leaders. I can mention a loto more if you want...lol...and there are some that were already exported...as soon as the good ones debut abroad I usually talk about them somewhere on the board Argentina: Qué Peinsa Cat - (2yo filly) 2 wins in 3 starts (including G1), beat Husson's track record on last start; El Charleta - (3yo colt) 4 wins out of 4 starts, including G1; Cuestion de Honor - (2yo colt) 2 wins in 3 starts, including G1 (79.92s in the same race Husson won last year in track record); Estricta - (3yo filly) - 6 wins and a 3rd place in 8 starts, including G1, G2 and G3; Storm Mayor - winner of argentinian most important race in the last two years. Was entered to run on the Dubai World Cup but didnt go due to shipping problems Uruguai: Good Report - (3yo colt) 4 wins and a 3rd place in 6 starts, including G1 Hope it's useful! |

Another one to the list!
Ivoire, yesterday won the 3rd leg of Rio de Janeiro's Triple Crown (he also captured the 2nd leg), Rio de Janeiro's Derby. He did it in a track record performance, under brazilian jockey Jorge Ricardo (Ricardinho), world's leading active jockey by wins.
