My point was not that she's the worst singer or performer (the word I'll use for the whole package) left in the competition, but that last night was dreadful regardless of the fact that she's better than a few of the performers left. Last night does not make me think that Chris, Sanjaya, or Phil are better than her -- but they certainly were last night. Of course, as we've seen through different weeks, we don't see everything eye to eye, I am just perplexed in every way as to how anyone could see last night's performance as anything more than terrible. In fact, I would have to go back and look at my ratings, but it may have been the season's worst "non-Sanjaya" performance. I am hard pressed to think of one that was more painful to watch/listen to.

I really tried to actually like Blake last night, to me it was his best performance but I don't know...there is just something about him that I dislike when he performs. LaKisha has the voice but lately she has been leaving me flat...I think it's the songs she's sung but she needs to get back on track...there are only so many votes to spread between her, Melinda and Jordin. I know I'm spending a lot of time here defending Haley but I'm doing so because I'm afraid this will be my last chance...either her or Phil will leave tonight or I'll be amazed!
