Teufelsburg --- SS is 4/5 and Great Hunter is 9/5. Love Dubai and Time Squared are 30-1.

So Love Dubai off the six-day layoff and Time Squared off the lengthy seven-day break.

Terrific.

I obviously haven't looked at the pp yet, but my instinct is that Great Hunter may be the way to go in this one given his performance on the poly last year. He should be a better value than Street Sense.

Better than Circular Quay off an eight WEEK break. Why would anyone complain about horses wheeling back after all the workout champions we've been seeing lately?!?

I don't think Time Squared is a throw out here, he won that last race pretty easily IMO, Frenchie had the horse in hand the whole time....

are you betting Time Squared? I hear that puts extra weight on a horse
I do the same. I knew I shouldn't have bet Sumwon
I weighed her down.

just a little superstious

Why would I waste my time when you don't open your ears and be comedy on the net?

I think you like getting picked on and you like the attention, which I won't be a part of

1) Gotta pay him back for the 2k hit that day
2) He really didn't use him until the last 1 furlong IMO, he just looped them and then let him go
3) Time only matters in jail

did anyone take note that stew elliot, teuflesbergs regular rider, will NOT be going to keeneland? other commitments at oaklawn prevent him from going....apparently he doesn't think teuf is his derby horse!

D, do you think that was his call or Jamie's call? Does he have another derby contender that I'm not aware of?

As much as I love Teuflesberg, I just can't see him stretching out to win at 10 panels, but I can't see Stewart having a better candidate either. LOL

i doubt he has another contender. from what i read, elliott said he couldn't make it-sounded like his call to me, but no doubt if he thought the horse was a keeper, he would wiggle out of the oaklawn gigs.

You would think he'd want to ride in the Derby regardless...

he got the ultimate ride in the derby a couple years ago--maybe he doesn't want to go back with a horse with little chance?
