well, we can't agree on everything! I liked her performance, 4th best on a night when all were below par...except Sanjaya who actually probably did his best.

I'd give ya a pass for missing an obvious talentless performance for someone, had you not done it several times before for her. It might be the legs that are distracting you. You know I've been a fan the last few weeks of her sexxed up performances that haven't been half bad, but last night was just a trainwreck.

They all sucked I thought....But I don't think it was their fault...I thought it was an extremely bad choice of music by American Idol. I love the whole Latin flavor but not in this forum...In order to be able to pull off latin music you need to be latin...because it's not only about the lyrics, it's about the steps, the attitude, and without all 3 you can't pull it off....I think J'Lo summed it up best when she told Blake it's not about the big note, it's about picking the girl up. Well they all went home alone last night.

I was kinda bored last night. Although I did like Jordin. Blake did well in my opinion. Those are my top 2.

I think Melinda and Lakisha are great singers, but I am just not into their style of music.

as much as i'd love to see it, Sanjaya is in no danger of leaving this week. I think it's Phil because he has been in the bottom 3 every week and he has zero appeal. I still think the final 2 will be Jordin and Blake.

Those are my two picks for the final 2 as well. With Jordin winning!

Honestly, I don't think Sangaya will go home either. Mad as it makes me I do live in reality.

Well, in being honest, last night was his best week yet as far as the performance goes. I would honestly say that Haley and Phil were worse last night, as much as it pains me to say it.

He's clearly the worst singer, but it would be a shame if he were to somehow go on a week in which he wasn't the worst. Not by a longshot.

Again, all I can say is that I thought she did pretty well...I agree with Buffy that this simply was a poor choice of genre by AI, latin music is tough to perform well by non-latins. She picked an up-beat song and her performance was full of energy and charisma...she is sexy and it seems to come natural, sure the hot pants were a nice touch...her legs are impossible to ignore if you are male and alive. She sang on key, the only problem was a lack of projection...you couldn't hear the words some times. Haley doesn't have the voice of the other 3 female performers, but she's better than all the guys (OK, Blake was good last night but still his voice isn't on a par with the "big three"). I have to agree that, once again, she's in danger tonight...either Phil or her will probably leave. Seriously though, tell me that you prefer Sanjaya (I know you don't), Phil or Chris over Haley?
Baba...I've always loved women and women's bodies...I don't think that makes me different from most straight men. Maybe if I live another 20 years, that aspect of life may become less meaningful for me but I doubt it. I think for most of us, the ability goes away long before the desire.

I don't prefer that any of them stick around longer than her -- but I'm writing these things and taking them one episode at a time, and I think that if it were based solely on one performance, she would be in great danger tomorrow -- for as bad as Phil was last night and as trashy as I think Chris is and for as bad as talentless as Sanjaya is, none of them were worse than her last night. I could count on one hand the performances this season that I thought were worse than her effort last night. And namely, they come from Sanjaya and Haley.

By "broke dick", I was referring to having an endoscope and laser shove up the ol' ding-dong on Friday in order to wipe out the kidney stone stuck in my ureter. Yes, two daughters (2yr and 4mo). By "two shots, two kills", I meant when we decided to have kids, we got pregnent on the first attempt for each (ie one shot, one kill X 2).



Sometimes my attempts at being funny and/or clever just come across as babbling idiocy...or maybe I am just an babbling idiot. I vote for the later.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about conception being compared to a successful day at the hunt.... (so teasing)

The polar bear here at the zoo got a vasectomy and it sure doesn't stop him, and he's getting up there in age. Of course, female polar bears are only in heat about 2 weeks out of the year, so it gives him a lot of time to get revved up.... anyway, it worked out much better than when they put the females on contraceptives- both of them gained about 100 pounds apiece and spent their days lying near the entrance to their nightime dens, moaning for food. I've known women with similar reactions!

Well, I think she is in great danger! I thought she might get voted off last week...she doesn't seem to have a huge fan base which surprises me given her sex appeal. Sanjaya has little girls going "gaga" and yet no real support for a hot babe in hot pants who teases while she sings...maybe she's too old for teenage boys??? Anyway, to me performing is singing and the intangibles, granted she won't compete with Melinda et al voice wise but the fact remains that I look forward to her performance every week...I can say that about only four singers who are left...all girls! It's not a sex thing, they are simply better than the boys and project, at least in the case of Melinda, Jordin and Haley, more personality than any of the guys save Sanjaya...! I know you disagree but right now, I'd place Haley third when considering the entire package...clearly this contest is looking like a two person race for the title (Melinda and Jordin) but Haley is as enjoyable to me as any of the rest...LaKisha is simply showing limitations every week!

Entire package considered, she should certainly last a few more weeks. She'd still rank about fifth for me behind Jordin, Melinda, Lakisha, and Blake. My point was not that she's the worst singer or performer (the word I'll use for the whole package) left in the competition, but that last night was dreadful regardless of the fact that she's better than a few of the performers left. Last night does not make me think that Chris, Sanjaya, or Phil are better than her -- but they certainly were last night. Of course, as we've seen through different weeks, we don't see everything eye to eye, I am just perplexed in every way as to how anyone could see last night's performance as anything more than terrible. I really tried to actually like Blake last night, to me it was his best performance but I don't know...there is just something about him that I dislike when he performs. LaKisha has the voice but lately she has been leaving me flat...I think it's the songs she's sung but she needs to get back on track...there are only so many votes to spread between her, Melinda and Jordin. I know I'm spending a lot of time here defending Haley but I'm doing so because I'm afraid this will be my last chance...either her or Phil will leave tonight or I'll be amazed!
