LOL...This is too funny.Horse has more speed than Giacomo, but couldn't win using it.I remember him rushing up to go with Tenfold in a maiden sprint on opening day.Flattened badly.Only way he could win was being treated exactly like his half bro.Well,I will assume he won't put in consecutive wins.JUST A GUESS..LOL..hope he does, but highly doubt it.He is acting just too much like the half bro.

shame you can't enjoy a race, and say anything about the winner, without being dressed down. regardless of field strength, tiago is now a gsw-who knows where he goes from here?

He's not my top pick but I can see this horse winning the Derby with right set-up, etc. . . He's gonna be severely underlaid, however, because of the Giacomo comparisons. . .

Giacomo was a MUCH better horse than Tiago going into the Derby---and you aren't going to get 50/1 on Tiago.

I tried to find an online list of the 450 early nom's, but couldn't. (I did find a list of the 10 late nom's, and Tiago isn't among them.) --Dunbar

it's the kentucky derby, we all know anything can happen. it doesn't matter who won what the last six months, or at two...it matters who is getting right at the right time, and can handle the distance, the trip, the track, the crowd. it's a shame that each race can't be enjoyed for what it is, rather then all these historic races being labelled another prep. the 'best' get to run in may--but winning, or losing, the wood for example, or the bluegrass, doesn't tell you much imo about what'll happen in may!
