Almost went over there to play Blossom over the 1, 3, 4, 5, but needed stuff at Wal-Mart and didn't go. Glad I didn't now.
It really wasn't very enticing with Blossom 9/5 on the ML.

It's great to see the combo "Red Dog" and Joe Johnson
win a big stakes at Oaklawn.

How about Johnson after the wire and whoever came to him on horseback? Jacinto maybe? They were high-fiving and dancing in the stirrups! Johnson was over-the-moon...

The one thing we know is Hartlage will stick to his main man JJ in
the Ky Oaks if the decide to run her in it. I hope they have much
success with her as they did with Judge TC. I always enjoy seeing
the little guys beat up on the big boys.

I am so mad I missed seeing this race. Since one of my board buddies (on another board) is a cousin of Reddog, I've been in the walking ring with the Hartlage gang at Kee a few times and in one winners' circle picture with them. This filly's mommy, Ornate, ran fifth in a 12f turf stakes at Kee one year - she wasn't quite in a class with the top ones, but she stayed the distance; she was more Val de l'Orne (damsire) than Gilded Time (sire). High Heels rules!
