final times mean nothing unless you ran at the same track on the same day and the track did not change...........

To the guy that started the thread, sorry that it derailed.

My answer to you would be that there is no formula to convert those beyers.
Those numbers are in the past and are so close what you really have to do is project forward and try to guess whether these horses run the same, improve, or regress next time. Sorry but there are many factors to consider when trying to unravel that.

So basically no easy answer. The previous race the 95 beyer horse was just a little better but there is enough room for error in the assignment of those numbers that for all purposes you can consider them the same.
