Amazing. Kip Deville actually ran a nice race, but Showing Up blew by him and had plenty left. Showing Up is still pretty inexperienced too, KD has been around a while. Showing Up answered the turf and distance questions. KD will never beat Showing Up unless it is 6F. Showing Up has a real shot at the $5million bonus.

You honestly think that Showing Up has a chance in the Arlington Million?

He has to win the Secretariat, not the Arlington Million. The next race at Colonial and the Secretariat are againt only 3yr olds. The last is the BC Turf. He should be mature and experienced for the BC Turf. He has a real shot.

Sorry, that is what I meant..... The BC Turf.

You really think Showing up has a chance in The BC Turf? Depending on what Euro's show up, he could wait until he was as mature and experienced as a horse can get and wouldn't be able to stand on the same course as them.

I'm not being a prick. This is a fact.

Sure. He was 3 seconds faster today than English Channels win in the same race last year. EC ran over a yielding course though. My friends told me he looked faster than EC one morning at Belmont, so who knows. Remember, it was only his 5th career race, 1st on the turf.

The guys who told me about Showing Up today, and Barbaro on derby day, said Showing Up will likely be one of the favorites for the BC Turf. They kept telling me he had an explosive turn of foot and they were right. This horse can compete with anyone.
