![]() I believe that horses finishing 1-2-3 in the Holy Bull are automatically nominated to the Fountain. These series are frequently set up this way or that nominating for the top event in a series gets you into the leadups, etc..

The nomination list for many of the preps are completely different from who is actually in the race. Check the nominations for the Bob Lewis Stakes this weekend at Santa Anita. It shows a completely different group than the horses expected to be entered. |
