She's not. Not even close. She's been a gimmick since day one trying out with her best friend (who FYI, was a heinous heinous bitch who deserved to get cut right after Bailey Brown got eliminated after the best friend wouldn't help her right before they performed and later told the camera that Bailey was gone and she was still around because, and I quote directly, "God likes good people."), and now she's being exposed for what she is now after the first week's episode.

Not like you to judge so quickly Brian...we don't know the circumstances concerning these pictures, the first batch was pretty tame but these last two with her giving head are probably gonna doom her...still, I think she should be judged based on her musical performance not these pictures.

I didn't judge her on anything but her musical abilities somer -- sorry if it came off like I was. I meant that she was exposed for what she is after week one: awful. The "exposed" pun was just a semantic bonus.

I don't think she and her best friend are good people, which made it ironic, and she is an atrociously terrible singer.

I don't care about things like this, I just think it's funny that it's such a big deal. I'm of course interested because I love Idol, but it's not like this has any bearing on the competition, because she's about 10,000-1 to win it.

Ok, that's more like the Brian I know, I admit that so far she hasn't shown enough musical ability to be a serious contender but sometimes these folks seem to suddenly take a leap forward, I would just like to see her judged on her singing and not her "other oral abilities"....there is already a "vote for Antonella" campaign started at several men's sites but they can never match the power of the conservative vote I'm afraid...anyway, if Fox removes her before the day is out I won't be surprised.

Whether the new photos are real or not, she was the worst singer amongst the girls. I was surprised she made the top 24 and stunned she survived the cut Thursday.

If you watch last season, there was a girl Kelly Pickler. She was very good looking and a average singer at best. I think she went pretty far on her looks.
I think Barba is much more better looking than Pickler, and if FOX doesn't give her the boot maybe she will get more votes from guys because of the pics!

That will be what I would find interesting...the format of the voting is to vote for your favorite of course so she might actually get MORE votes, I already posted that several men's sites are attempting to organize a "get out the vote" campaign for her...would be fascinating to see but I suspect Fox will be under wilting pressure from all sorts of "family values" groups to dump her...she probably will be gone over the weekend. I say it again...I wish they would let her stay and let the public vote.

I agree she will probably be gone, because the worst thing that could happen for AI would for her to go really far in this "singing contest"

Yeah, but personality goes a long way, and this girl Barba has none. Simon loved Pickler, but already put the "pack your bags" on Barba.

You are right, personality does go a long way. But so do naked / giving guys BJ pictures too! It doesn't matter cause I think they will toss her or she will just quit. She has nothing to gain by staying on the show. I would think her parents would want her out of the limelight for now. Another thing is by some act of God if she won, everyone would just say it's every guy in America voting for her because of the pics. That's why Idol can't keep her because then it would make the show a sham! I think the real damage the pictures will be that it might hurt any kind of modeling gig she might have gone out of being on AI. The girl can't sing but she is very very pretty. Now the only thing she could hope for would be a phone call from Hef!

Won't matter cuz she gets the boot. No way would AI people ever put themselves in a position to have this girl voted through. For the sake of argument, what happens if they let her stay and somehow she starts to get votes and her momentum picks up and more pictures keep surfacing? cuz you know that there are going to be more and more everyday......No way they run that risk with the biggest show on tv....
