Grand Slam a good bet

I was stunned by the payout today.. I hit it 4 times. I know I didn't post it earlier, so you'll have to take me at my word. This was my play(s):


2/1,4/3,8,10/10 for $5 costing $30 (was a losing ticket)

I also covered myself with another ticket:

4,6/1,4/3,8,10/6 for $2 costing $24.... I caught both horses in the first two legs and the 8 in the 2rd leg totalling 4x the payout with a Minister's Bid win.

I was shocked to get 50-1+ on a horse that went off at 3/5... turned out to be a great bet, even thought it was my bet covering the other one!

I've become a huge fan of the grand slam, especially when there's a solid single in the last leg you know won't go off at better than 2-1...
