The poly was perfectly fine last winter. But people bitched about it being too slow. So, they tried to make it faster this summer, and this is apparently what happened.
It's obvious the changes they made aren't for the better. That being said last year the winter weather was very mild so the poly didn't really get tested. This year it is.
