Happy Overpriced Flowers Day, everyone. With hubby in Orlando until September, I'm going with one of my riding buddies to dinner and a Broadway show tonight... with the tickets I got him as a Christmas present! Oh well. That's what he gets for being a good actor and getting a job and all.

I'm trying for late March/early April. I've got a couple of readings and one-night shows here of my own over the next four to six weeks so my schedule is a bit of a nightmare. But here's the funny thing-- my stepmom goes in for surgery in mid-April (that's not the funny part) and she desperately wants to come down to see his show before the surgery knocks her off her feet for 12 weeks, so my first visit to see him will be me... and the 'rents. Oh, fun!

Danzig, he's doing Marlin in "Finding Nemo: The Musical" at Wild Animal Kingdom until late September. He's in rehearsals now.

And he sent flowers to me today at work, so now the husbands and boyfriends of my co-workers are all in big trouble...

Going to see "Spring Awakening." I've already heard the music, which is pretty good, though still doesn't sound like a rock musical to me. The only musical of the last 15 years I'd really call a rock musical was "Hedwig and the Angry Inch."

(I don't count "Tommy" because it wasn't new music. I came, I saw, I enjoyed immensely)

2. That sounds awesome. I may have to make a trip up there. Let me know when he starts.

3. One of the girls in my office got a HUGE bouquet of roses today. AND SHE ISN'T EVEN HERE TODAY. She is in vegas with her boyfriend. WHOOPSIE!!!!!!!!

Yeah... one of the women in the adjacent building got roses from a secret admirer. She called the man she assumed sent them, and not only was he not, he was furious when he found out someone sent her flowers and hung up on her. Such drama!

Way expensive flowers, too. Long-stemmed Black Beauties. I don't particularly like roses (except on the First Saturday in May, of course) but even I thought these were lovely.
