I know this subject has been beat to death here,but I wonder if this might help.In the winter,I put pads on my Draft horses to keep the snow from balling up on their feet.Works 100% A OK!I wonder if this would remedy the situation.Any farriers or trainers out there who tried this?You could put a very thin pad in between the hoof and the shoe to keep the poly gunk from balling up in there.Just a thought.
