#1 Walking: Any activity you can do with the biggest muscles(the legs) in your body is good. They burn a heck of a lot of sugar. #2 Eat and drink, but not after 7 pm if you go to bed an 10 or 11 pm. No eating or drinking 3 to 4 hours before your bedtime. Eat a big breakfast, big lunch, small dinner and then cold water after that if you get hungry. Baby steps... I think this is doable. If the above work somewhat in getting rid of some excess weight, then maybe some other minor changes that will allow you to stay consistent, after some confidence is built if you start feeling better. Nothing will happen quickly if you want a true change that lasts. The next exercise I would do would be pool running if you have access. No pain on the knees but a great workout. I used to do this when I was injured from running. And not swimming, its good for you, but it will not utilize the large muscles of the legs in a manner that burns up that sugar and fat like pool running. If you can get to this stage, a large amount of weight will come off and the blood sugar levels will drop... and you probably will be able to keep eating and drinking if you do this exercise enough. I am very leery about all the new stuff coming out for weight loss. I would really wait to see what the true effects are by talking to others that try these. |
