Cannon Shell can you give us the short explaination on why the Vet bills are higher when my horses are winning as opposed to the low vet bill when we are not winning ?

do you ask this trainer the same question????????????????? if so what response do you have? i can think of some you might hear and others that you might not hear but that may be the actual reason

I'd ask him if he put his money on my horse. I remember reading about a trainer getting in trouble because he bet someone else's horse in a race.

I guess a question I would ask is

Do you run your horses when you want to or when the racing sectretary wants you to?

Just curious how big an issue that is. Considering the track safety problems at Turfway. I would refuse to run the way it is now.
